The certainty of Christ’s return to build the final Zion helps us stand firm amid the trials of this age.
We don’t deserve it but Zion will be built in spite of our horrendous failures by the blood of the cross.
We foolishly keep rejecting the Saving Shepherd in favour of following worthless shepherds.
Jesus may not be the King men are looking for but He is certainly the King they need.
Zion past failed because man fails.
A holy kingdom of priests can only be built by the holy Priest-King.
When the obstacles facing the church seem immense, remember – our God is greater.
The day will come when we will share God’s glory in Zion – but until then we must strive to flee Babylon and proclaim His glory to the world.
