Our church is led by a group of elders and deacons. They are assisted by staff whom the church employs.
Elders
Elders are responsible for overseeing the teaching and prayer ministries of the church. Their job is to protect and defend the teaching of the gospel, as well as overseeing pastoral care. The Biblical qualifications for elders can be found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Deacons
Deacons are responsible for leading in service in the church. They are the first point of contact for resourcing ministry and serving the church and wider community. The Biblical qualifications for deacons can be found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
Staff
The church sets apart some people by employing them to coordinate ministry.
